Our products IR optical glass HWB Series are respectively equivalent to black color filter glass RG7 of Germany Schott and infrared transmitting filters RM86,90 of Japan Hoya.
Infrared transmitting optical glass filters HWB1 HWB3 HWB4 absorb most of the visible region and transmit the infrared region. They are designed to transmit wavelengths above a set length determined by the optical coating and substrate. Any wavelengths that are shorter than that point are blocked. They are commonly used in conjunction with shortpass filters for bandpass filtration applications. Also, they are widely used in light sources for purposes such as infrared warning systems and night-vision equipment.
Main Application: CCTV Lens, Medical Equipment, Security Device, Fluorescent Spectroscopy Systems, etc.
