Our product Heat Absorbing Filters GRB4 is respectively equivalent to optical filters KG4 of Germany Schott.
Heat absorbing glass short-pass filters reduce the heat transmitted through an optical system. They have high transmission in the visible wavelength region and absorb in the IR wavelength region, making them also useful?as a shortpass filter. To prevent a filter glass from being broken by rapid heating or cooling, this optical filter can be also provided as a thermal toughening tempered glass.
Main Application: Absorbs infrared (IR) wavelengths; Used as a short-pass filter.
