Application of Bandpass Optical Filters
A Bandpass Optical Filters is a filter with a cutoff band on both sides of the transmission band of the spectral characteristic curve. Bandpass Optical Filters transmit only certain wavelength bands and block others. The width of this filter is expressed in the range of wavelengths it allows to pass, which can range from a few nanometers to hundreds of nanometers.

Bandpass Optical Filters are roughly divided into broadband filters and narrowband filters according to their spectral characteristics. The two types of filters are usually combined, and the principle of light wave interference is applied to prepare bandpass filters.
Bandpass Optical Filters allow optical signals to pass through in a specific wavelength band, and the optical signals on both sides that deviate from this band are blocked. The passbands of bandpass filters are relatively wide, generally half a The bandwidth is above 40nm! It has been widely used in the fields of chemistry, spectroscopy, laser, astrophysics, optical fiber communication, biology and so on.
